After Saturday’s storms it’ll be nice to talk about a wonderful Spring day. That would be the forecast for tomorrow:
But its’ been a wet start to the year, especially when you consider the historically dry start to last year. In 2014 it took us all the way to August to get to 12″ of rain:
Rain chances start to show up on Tuesday, The better chances are around the Red River on Tuesday and along the dry line to our west on Wednesday:
Storm chances jump up on Thursday. The dry line should be closer to the Metroplex by afternoon with a stationary front serving as a focus:
Some of these storms could be severe. But the best chance of a repeat of Saturday will be on Friday:
The last weekend of April might turn out to be the first weekend in April to stay dry:
